Crypto beyond the price

Networks, custody and security explained visually.

3 lessons · ~12 min · Introductory level
LESSON 01 / 03

Asset, network and product

01Which asset?
02Which network?
03Which product?
Connect the concepts

A crypto asset and the network it uses are different concepts. The same commercial identifier may appear on different networks. A derivative on its price is also not equivalent to owning the token. Before assessing an operation, identify the asset, product, network and associated rights.

Your turn
Is a Bitcoin derivative automatically Bitcoin in a wallet?

LESSON 02 / 03

Who controls access?

01Private keys
02Access control
03Custody responsibility
Connect the concepts

With self-custody, you take responsibility for protecting keys and recovering access. With third-party custody, you also depend on the provider’s controls and terms. A recovery phrase may give control of assets: never share it with support, forms or messages. Lost access can be irreversible.

Your turn
Supposed support asks for your recovery phrase. What should you do?

LESSON 03 / 03

Volatility and liquidity

01Volatile price
02Variable liquidity
03Access can change
Connect the concepts

Price can move quickly while few buyers or sellers are available. Order size may affect execution. Continuous trading in some markets does not mean liquidity, access or withdrawals are always available. Also assess counterparty risk and regulatory changes; do not confuse popularity with safety.

Your turn
Does a 24-hour market guarantee liquidity for any order?

Educational examples, with no real trading. Local progress, without professional certification.
